Mystics top Mounties

Mystics top Mounties

The Mystics were back on their home floor and also back in the win column and led the game from start to finish. Led by rookie star Isaac Matheson with 17 points and Will Spaulding with 13, the Mystics moved their record to above .500 and in sole possession of third place int he ACAA standings. The Mystics bench were also major contributors to the win with a 27-10 advantage of the Mounties. Off the bench Adam Callaghan went 3-4 from the three point line and chipped in with 13 points, while second year guard Lyon McLean shot 3-3 from behind the arc and scored 9. The Mounties were led by ACAA scoring leader Noah McCarthy who played almost the entire game and dropped 33 points, including threes, foul shots and at the basket, but it wasn't enough. The Mystics next game will be at home vs the Tommies of St. Thomas on Saturday the 26th at 5pm. The Mystics will be lookign to avenge a loss to the Tommies a week ago in Fredericton.
