The University of King's College Blue Devils fell to the current CCAA nationally third-ranked Holland College Hurricanes in their home opener today at the Kingdome in Halifax 86-115. While UKC fought hard, the Hurricanes dominated throughout the game with a standout performance from #11 Jace Colley who had 30 points and 12 rebounds. UKC was led by strong performances from #23 Keenan Sparks with 22 points and #8 Will Colpitts with 17 points and 5 assists. 

The Hurricanes start their season with an undefeated weekend and a current season record of 0-2 while UKC begins theirs 0-1.

 

Catch some more basketball action next weekend with Holland's home opener against UNBSJ and UKC hitting the road looking for a win against Mount Allison both next Saturday at 4 pm.
