The UNBSJ Seawolves finished off a weekend double header with the UKC Blue Devils in ACAA men's basketball action Sunday in Saint John. Both teams were trying to secure the tie-breaker for playoffs and it was tense throughout the game. 

The Seawolves jumped out to a 17-6 and that was enough as UKC made a spirited run in the 3rd quartet to get to within 6 points before the Seawolves went on a 30-17 tear in the 4 quarter to close out the game and complete the weekend sweep. 

Adam Lambert had another great game, scoring 24 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and picking up 6 assists. Tanner Hoyt added 18 points and 5 rebounds, Hunter Gray scored 17 points and had 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Jacob Vickers finished with 15 points and 4 rebounds.

The win vaulted the Seawolves past UKC into the 6th and final playoff spot. The Seawolves improved to 3-10 while the Blue Devils fell to 2-10.

Next action for each team sees UKC hosting MSVU Saturday, February 8 at 5:00 PM while the Seawolves travel to play the Crandall Chargers at 3:00 PM February 9.
