The Holland College Hurricanes defeated the Dragons 25-22, 25-13, 23-25 and 25-21. Kenton Dawkins led the charge for the Canes with 8 kills while Darcie Handrahan had a great day at the serving line with 6 aces.

Rookie setter Dominik Fortin and team captain Mario Larade both recorded 4 service aces for the home Dragons. After a slow start, the Dragons bounced back to take the third set and kept their momentum in the fourth game. The Hurricanes finally resisted the comeback and put the match out of reach with some agressive serving and key attacks.
