Holland College started off 2106 on the right track by edging the home Dragons in straight sets (25-18, 25-19 and 26-24). Darcie handrahan sparked the Hurricanes with 6 kills and 3 service aces. Kenton Dawkins added 4 kills.

Anthony Jacques was the best for the home Dragons with 5 kills while rookie setter Dominik Fortin had 2 service aces.
