The UNBSJ Seawolves are set to make an appearance in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association men's volleyball final.
The Seawolves slipped past the STU Tommies 3-0 (25-21, 26-24, 25-22) in their semi-final match-up Saturday at DAL AC. The victory gives them a berth in Sunday's 2:30 pm final against Holland College Hurricanes.
The Seawolves held the lead all the way through the opening set but faced much stiffer competition in the final two sets as the sides swapped leads throughout.
Luke O'Grady led the Seawolves with 13 digs and added nine kills in a Player of the Match performance while Peter Banks collected eight kills. Patrick Kendall also had 13 digs.
Stephane Blinn was the Player of the Match for STU with 11 digs and nine kills. Jonah Burridge was all over the court for 28 digs.
