The first place Holland College Hurricanes defeated the UNBSJ Seawolves 79-48 in ACAA women's basketball. The Hurricanes were led by Jenea Barrett's 14 points and 6 rebounds. Jazlin Barker scored 11 points, had 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ashley Moss tossed in 10 points and added a game high 7 rebounds. Allyson McLaughlin scored 11 points and added 3 assists for the Seawolves while Kelsey Simon and Kenya Plut each had 8 points. The Hurricanes improved to 8-1 while the Seawolves fell to 1-8.
