In a match up for first place in the Women's ACAA basketball standings it was the visiting team Mount Allison Mounties edging the hometown Mystics by a score of 87-86 in a fast paced exciting and entertaining game. The game saw the Mystics leading after the first quater 29-27, but Mt. Allison bounced back with a solid second quarter 21- 13 second quater to lead at half by six, 48-42. After a tied 3rd quater at 19- 19 the lead stayed at six going into the 4th with a score of 67-61 fot MTA. Early in the fouth the Mounties increased their lead to 12 but the MYstics battled back to  take a 3 point lead with under 5 minutes to play. Tough baskets at both ends provided several lead changes and momentum swings and with the final buzzer sounding it was MTA winning by 1. It was a tough loss for the Mystics who will try to rebound during their next game at home vs St.Thomas Tommies.
