ACAA women’s basketball

The UNB Saint John Seawolves and Crandall University Chargers met in ACAA women's basketball. The Seawolves had a 30-27 lead 30-27 at half time but the lead changed hands several times before the Seawolves pulled away in the final couple of minutes to win 63-58.

The Seawolves were led by Katherine Magee's 12 points. Jillian McNally added 10 points and Kelsey Simon and Megan Baisley each had 9 points for the winners. Allyson McLaughlin had 10 rebounds and Kelsey Simon added 3 steals for the winners.

The Chargers were led by Sydney Balser who had a game-high 15 points. Emily Briggs and Madison McHatten each had 11 points. McHatten also contributed 11 rebounds for the Chargers.

The Seawolves improved their record to 2-7 which puts them in 6th place. Crandall fell to 0-12 and remain in 7th place.
