The Mystics open their season right where they left off last year with a win over the visiting Holland College Hurricanes. Led by 4th year wing Tahlia Jones who scored 20 points, shooting 58% and a perfect 3 for 3 from behind the arc. She also added 4 steals and 2 rebounds. The Mystics also received 12 points from Nikki Arsenault, 10 each from Maria Rodrigues and Julia Kokonis. The Hurricanes were led by rookie Spohie Atkinson with 20points, Ashley Plaggenhoef with 16 points including 8 assists. Next game for the Mystics is Saturday Nov 9th as they travel to Crandall University while the Hurricanes will host the Seawolves from UNBSJ.
