The Holland College Hurricanes defeated the Crandall University Chargers 80-60 to kick off the second half of women's league play on Saturday in Moncton. The Hurricane used a strong first and third quarters to pull away from the Chargers, led by Courtney Cain Nordin's 22 points and Aki Kobayashi' 21 points. The Chargers were led by Emily Rushton with 20 points. The Hurricanes resume league action on Saturday when the host the UKC Blue Devils while the Chargers host Mount Alison in a mid-week game on Wednesday.
