The Mount Allison Mounties cruised to a 76-56 victory over the Crandall Chargers in mid-week Women's ACAA Basketball action in Moncton. The Mounties were led by Hannah Hawks with 14 points and Jill Harris chipped in 7 rebounds. The Chargers were led by Alexa Rancourt with 22 points and 8 rebounds. The Chargers came out strong in the second half and cut the lead to 9 points after the 3rd quarter, but the Mounties responded with a strong 4th quarter to pull away for the win.
The Mounties are in action again on Sunday when they host the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics while the Chargers host the St. Thomas Tommies on Saturday.
