CHARLOTTETOWN - The Holland Hurricanes picked up a much-needed 74-70 victory over the UKC Blue Devils Saturday evening at the Centre for Community Engagement. 

Sophie Atkinson led the way with a double-double including 20 points on 9-15 shooting, and 10 boards. Danielle McKinnon added 13 points, While Courtney Nordin chipped in with a dozen. 

For the Blue Devils, Claire Hickman had a monster effort with 18 points and 18 rebounds. Geana George (16), Jenna Bain (13), and Chloe Oxner (12) all had double-digit point totals as well. 

With the win, the Hurricanes improve to 6-2 (won-lost) while the Blue Devils fall to 5-3 with the loss.
