The UNBSJ Seawolves the UKC Blue Devils in ACAA women's basketball action Sunday in Saint John. It was the back end of a double header weekend. This one was never in doubt as UKC completed the weekend sweep.

The Blue Devils defeated the Seawolves 79-59 to improve to 8-4 which moves into contention for 3rd place. The Seawolves dropped to 2-11.

Jenna Bain scored 20 points and added 7 rebounds for the winners, Chloe Oxner had 14 points, Geana George added 12 points and 5 rebounds and Kalaigh Coco-Edman scored 10 points to go with 6 assists.

Kathryn Magee had a good game for the Seawolves with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Julia Bennett has 14 points and 6 rebounds and Hanna Grossman added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Next action for each team sees UKC hosting MSVU Saturday, February 8 at 3:00 PM while the Seawolves travel to play the Crandall Chargers at 1:00 PM February 9.
