The UNB Saint John Seawolves defeated the Crandall Chargers 78-52 in ACAA women's basketball action on Sunday in Moncton. After a close first half, the Seawolves pulled away in the third quarter and cruised to the victory. Julia Bennett led the Seawolves with 18 points with Hanna Grossman pulling in 13 rebounds. The Chargers were led by Alexa Rancourt's 23 points and 4 rebounds. The Seawolves are in action again next Saturday when they host the Chargers while the Chargers are in action again on Friday when they head to Charlottetown to face the Holland College Hurricanes.
