CHARLOTTETOWN - The Holland Hurricanes (12-3) got a monster performance from Sophie Atkinson to defeat the Mount Allison University Mounties (6-9) 80-66 Sunday afternoon at the Holland College Centre for Community Engagement. With the win, the Hurricanes hold onto first place in the ACAA standings, in a tie with the St. Thomas University Tommies (12-3). 

For the Hurricanes, Atkinson scored 27 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double effort. Aki Kobayashi also joined the double-double club with 11 points and 11 boards. Kassie Little had a productive game with 12 points and seven rebounds. 

For the Mounties, Bethany Warwick and Sophie Trail each had 15 ponts, whilq Abby Miller's eight points and 12 rebounds rounded out the Mount Allison counter-attack. 

The Hurricanes led 23-9 after one quarter, 35-19 at the half, and 59-36 after three.
