The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Holland College Hurricanes in ACAA women's basketball at the G. Forbes Elliot Athletics Centre.

The Hurricanes set the tone early. They led 47-32 at the half and came away with an 82-58 victory.

Karla Benitez led the Hurricanes with 15 points. Lisa Bolander, Ashley Plaggenhoef and Amy Plaggenhoef each scored 14 in the balanced attack. Rookie Abby Ring-Dineen had 16 points to lead the Seawolves and Bailey Henderson add 13 points. 

The Hurricanes improved their record to 2-1 while the Seawolves fell to 0-3.

Teams next see action when the Seawolves travel to STU Nov. 14 for a 1:00pm game with the Tommies while the Hurricanes host the Tommies Nov. 20 at 3:00pm.
