Today at the Kingdome, the women's Blue Devils basketball team took on the Holland College Hurricanes. Both teams came out strong, with a score of 45-39 at half for the Hurricanes. The first half of the game was led by Hurricanes #11 Grace Bennett with 9 points, and Blue Devils #5 Jenna Bain with 14 points. The second half of the game was led by efforts from Hurricanes #5 Ashley Plaggenhoef, scoring 13 points in total, and Blue Devils #5 Jenna Bain with 31 points total. The Hurricanes took the win with a score of 96-87 in a close game. The Blue Devils play the MSVU Mystics next at the Kingdome on January 14th at 6pm.
