The Mystics coming off a loss at the hand of the STU Tommies last weekend were able to grind out a solid win at home vs a very good Mount Allison Mounties team.. Rebounding advantage went to the Mounties 40-30 and a 2-1 advantage on the offensive glass which provided a 36-22 advantage on the scoresheet. However the Mystics were able to get to the foul line 49 times and outscored the Mounties by 27 points at the charity stripe and the MYstics bench stepped up and held a 25-9 advantage thanks to the efforts of Amanda Pearcey and Courtney Smith. The Mystics play next Saturday vs the STU Tommies at home and will look to revenge their loss last week at St. Thomas. Mystics move into a tied for first place in the league with Holland College at 4-1 and MTA moves to 2-2 for the season.
