The Hurricanes improved their record to 7-2 after a home win vs the Chargers (1-7) Thursday night in Charlottetown.

After a tight first quarter (17-16) the Canes pulled away to lead by 11 at halftime.  Holland continued to add to their lead in the 3rd and 4th quarters, with the final being 78-51.

The Chargers were lead by Alexa Rancourt with 20pts & 10 rebounds.  Kassidy Hamilton added 11pts & 9 rebounds, while Mattea Hansen chipped in with 10pts.

Hurricanes top scorer was Karla Benitez with 19pts, 8 reb, & 6 ast. Lisa Bolander had 18 pts and went 4 of 10 from beyond the arc.  

Crandall next plays host to UKC on Jan 21.

Holland are on the road this Sunday Jan 15, to take on the UNBSJ Seawolves at 2pm.
