The Holland College Hurricanes hosted the University of King's College at the McMillan Centre of Community Engagement.
After a tightly contested first quarter(19-18) the 'Canes turned it on in the second quarter shooting 64% from the field and 4-8 from 3pt to take a 54-30 lead in halftime.
The game continued that way much of the third, the hosts extending their lead to 44 at one point.
The final ended 103-75.
UKC was led by #10 Nalini Maharaj with 10 pts and 8 rebounds.
Hurricanes top performers were Lisa Bolander with 24pts(5-8 from 3pt), 8 rebounds and 6 assists, Karla Benitez had 19pts, 8 rebounds and 9 assists.
Hurricanes secure the second place seed heading into the ACAA playoffs. It gives them a bye into the semi finals to played March 4th in St Thomas University.
UKC(#5) will also be making an appearance at the ACAA playoffs as they match up against the host STU(#4) on March 3rd.
