UNB Saint John women's basketball is back in action.

Taking on Mount Saint Vincent University, one of the top teams in the league, the Seawolves came out strong ending the first period 17-17.  

Unable to hold off the strong offensive play from MSVU, the Seawolves fell 50-24 by half with 27 points from Mystics 3rd year guard, Amanda Pearcey.  

In the fourth quarter, MSVU extended their lead over UNB Saint John, with strong offensive rebound play from 5th year Nalini Maharaj. The Seawolves attempted to get back into the game with 14 points and 10 rebounds from starting forward, Bailey Henderson. Ultimately the Mystics took the win, final score of 70-47.
