The Holland Hurricanes hosted the UKC Blue Devils at the McMillan Center in Charlottetown on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts started the game strong jumping out to a 16-8 lead. UKC closed the lead before the end of the first quarter, 25-20.
In the second quarter the Blue Devils looked to full court press the 'Canes but to no avail. The Hurricanes ended the 2nd quarter on a 10-0 run. To lead 52-35 at the mid break.
It wasn't until the 4th quarter that the Blue Devils came alive but already trailing by 20 points, they managed to bring it to within 9 points, but it was too little too late.
Holland hung on for the 92-81 win.
Alexa Rancourt had 27 points and 13 rebounds for the home team.
Arek Akeg had 16 points off the bench for the Blue Devils.
