The Mystics returned home after a very poor road trip where they lost both games for the first time this season with a solid vicotry aginst visting ST. Thomas Tommies from Fredericton. The Tommies who had won thier previous three games had been playign their best basketball of the season were stymied on offense and held to only 29 points in the final three quarters after coming our strong with 24 in the first. The Mystics also started out hot from the field with 24 points of their own but a 24-8 second quarter helped to push them into the league they would not relinquish and ended with a 77-53 finals socre and the win. The Mystics shot 42% from the field including 36% from the three point line. They also forced STU into 27 turnovers leading to easy transition points and plenty of assists, evident by the 21 assists on their 28 made field goals. Good all around team effort both on offence and defence.  

Mystics are right back on home court tomorrow as the Crandall Chargers come to town, with a game time at 1:00pm.
