Chargers Women's Basketball falls to Tommies in home opener

MONCTON, NB - The Crandall Chargers dropped their home opener 64-36 to the visitng St. Thomas Tommies on Saturday in Moncton.

Charlie Conners led the way for the Tommies with 15 points followed by teammate Kylee Roi with 10. Alyssa Jeffrey added 9 rebounds and Paige LeBlanc had a game-high 5 steals in the win. The Chargers were led by Kelsey Alward, a second year center from Moncton, NB, with a game-high 19 points and Ellie Hiltz, a thrid year guard from Yarmouth, NS added 9 rebounds.  

Crandall will be back in action on November 3 as they travel to Sackville, NB to face the Mount Allison Mounties.
