The Seawolves visited the Hurricanes at the MacMillan Center for Community Engagement.
The Hurricanes jumped out to an 11-1 lead but the Seawolves clawed their way back into the game trailing by 4 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter the Hurricanes went on a 20-0 run for a healthy lead heading into the locker room at halftime up 52-25.
The game remained out of reach for the Seawolves as the Hurricanes comfortably took the game 86-49.
Lauren Armstrong led the 'Canes with 18 points. Amy Plaggenhoef added 16, going 4-7 from beyond the arc.
Llorena Prekaj had a strong game for SJ with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
