The University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds played their second home game defeating Mount Allison University 74-0 in ACAA women's rugby action Friday evening in Fredericton on College Field. 

UNB held possession of the ball for key portions of the game scoring twelve tries. Both Amy Andrews and Taylor Morgan from UNB had three tries each.  Julija Rans was dialed in on converses with seven for the game.  UNB ended the first half with a 38-0 lead.  The second MTA applied pressure but UNB's defense was able to hold the Mounties off.  UNB utilizing  a number of their roster was able to score multiple tries in the second half to end the game 74-0.

The next game is schedule for September 30th vs. University of  Kings College in Halifax at 2pm. UNB now has a 2-0 record.
