The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Holland College Hurricanes in ACAA women's soccer action. Emily Levine was the star on thiis day. She had numerous chances to score and finally broke open a close game with consecutive goals in the 53 and 58 minutes to seal it for the Hurricanes. Karlee Duval brought the Seawolves to within one when she scored in the 80th minute but Emily Cormier of the Hurricanes quickly restored the two goal cushion at the 82nd minute and the Seaswolves could not respond. The Hurricanes won 3-1 in their season opener.

The Hurricanes are 1-0-0 while the Seawolves are 0-1-0.

The Seawolves host the Dalhousie Agricutural Rams Sunday, Sept. 12 at 11:00am and 1:15pm while the Hurricanes travel to Fredericton to play the St. Thomas Tommies at 12:00pm and 2:00pm.
