The Holland Hurricanes secured a 2-1 win over the STU Tommies in Sunday afternoon ACAA Women's soccer action. Reese Kelly scored in the 40 minute of play to put the Hurricanes on the scoreboard.  In the 2nd half, Emily Lepine secured a 2-0 lead at 51 min.  STU's Jayci Peck answered in the 76th minute however STU fell short to come back to tie it up.  

The Hurricanes end their opening weekend with a record of 2-0-0.

The Hurricanes will be on the road next weekend facing the UKC Blue Devils in Halifax on Saturday, Sept 17th at 1pm and the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics on Sunday at 1pm.
