The Hurricanes took care of the Dragons on home court at McMillan Centre in Charlottetown.
The Dragons came out strong and led 7-3 early in the first set but the Hurricanes went on an 11-2 run to lead 14-9 and didn't look back, taking the first set 25-14.
The second set tightened up as neither team pulled away until the 'Canes got four straight points to finish off the set 25-21.
The third and final set went the way of the Hurricanes early and they cruised comfortably to a 25-17 win.
For the Hurricanes, Jenna O'Neill smashed 12 kills, while Morgan White added 9 of her own. Ella Hickey set up the plays with 24 assists.
The Hurricanes(6-3) host Mount Allison University(5-5) Sunday January 22nd at 1pm.
The Dragons(2-8) will continue their road trip tomorrow with a game against the Crandall Chargers(1-10) at 5pm.
