Saint John, NB - The University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves defeated the Crandall University Chargers 3-2 (22-25, 25-13, 23-15, 25-19, 15-13) at the G. Forbes Elliot Athletic Centre Saturday afternoon in the team's Make Noise for Mental Health game.
Rookie, Emily Robichaud, led the Seawolves with 15 kills and 24 points, with Sydney Flower adding 11 kills for 16 points. Janelle Blanchette and Haley Legacy led the Chargers with a combined 15.5 points.
The win moves the Seawolves to 5-5 on the season, while the Chargers fall to 1-10.
Next action for the Seawolves will be Sunday at 2:00pm when they host the Dal AC Rams, while the Chargers will host the UStA Dragons on Sunday.
