Dalhousie AC Rams visited Mount Saint Vincent University for the Mystics home opener which ended as a 3-0 victory for the Mystics. Set 1 put up a score of 25-20 with spread out offensive success meaning there was no leader for kills for either team. The Rams and Mystics collected 4 and 11 aces respectively in just the first set. In the second set Mystic Cela MacLellan extended her lead in service aces at 9 aces between the two sets. Rams Callie Immerker and Ashley Rideout also put some aces on the leader board, moving their team total after the second set to 6. The second set ended with a score of 25-17 for the Mystics with both teams continuing to spread out their offence while still having a strong outside hitter presence on both sides of the court. The Mystics ended the third set with a total of 24 service aces and 8 service errors, and the Rams finished with 8 aces and only 3 service errors. Callie Immerker and Ashley Rideout led the Rams leader board with 6 and 7 kills respectively, and Cathrine Macphail and Madyson Parlee racked up 9 and 10 kills respectively. The third set ended in a score of 25-16 moving the Rams to a record of 1-3 and the Mystics 3-0 after a hard-fought game.
